Accessing the Autodesk Interoperability Tools for Revit

The Autodesk Interoperability Tools for Revit installer includes the COBie Extension, Equipment Data Tool, Model Checker, Room & Area Sync, Shared Parameters Tool, and Standardized Data Tool. The Model Checker Configurator is now a separate installation.

The tools can be downloaded from, or installed directly through Autodesk Access (formerly the Autodesk Desktop App).

The Autodesk Interoperability Tools for Revit are free for licensed Revit users to download and use, just select your Revit version and get started.

Regular Expressions

A regular expression, or "regex," is a customized text string that can be used for describing search patterns. They are accepted by the Autodesk Model Checker Configurator for Revit in the "Wildcard" fields to assist in filtering the customized element or model checks.
